Works perfectly for our kitchen scraps container. Just to make sure it doesnt rip or start to come apart, i usually put a paper towel down at the bottom but even when we forget to do that, it has never ripped. We change it out every three or four days so maybe if you left it in there for more than two weeks, it might? But for us, this is perfect and i will continue to buy this bc it works for us.

These compostable bags are excellent, they fit most containers and hold up well. Though they occasionally tear with ruff use, they hold up better than most others. They usually hold about two days collection of vegetable scraps and such, so I only need to change it out every other day or so. They nicely contain the goo until it is taken to the compost bin.
